Ivy Tech Community College at Marion is one of 23 Ivy Tech campuses in Indiana. Established in 1963, Ivy Tech enrolls nearly 93,000 students statewide and is the state’s second largest and fastestgrowing college system. Ivy Tech has an open admissions policy and offers affordable one-year certificate and two-year degree programs.

Statewide, students can choose from a variety of specialties within 31 fields, such as computer information systems, nursing, human services, and design technology. More and more students are choosing to start their academic journey at Ivy Tech and later transfer to a four-year college or university. The campus also offers two-year, liberal arts degree programs through Ivy Tech’s Community College of Indiana partner, Vincennes University.

Established in 1978, Ivy Tech-Marion serves students and employers in Grant and Blackford counties. Areas of study include business, technology, public services, health sciences, and general education. Although Ivy Tech is a commuter college, students can take part in many activities through: Phi Theta Kappa, the honor society for two-year colleges; Student Government Association; professional organizations; and other clubs. The college offers flexible scheduling, as well as online courses, to accommodate students’ job and family obligations. Ivy Tech’s advisors can help students map out academic and career goals, and financial aid is available for qualified applicants.

Ivy Tech is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
