Grant County Economic Growth Council

For the first time, the Indiana Aerospace and the Space Science community are joining together with university faculty, students, and business professionals to collaborate on research efforts during a state wide conference. Sessions will include R&D efforts in the state, as well as panel and open discussions.

The Keynote Speakers include Dr. Martin Jischke, President of Purdue University (Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from MIT and a member of the President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology) and Dr. Daniel L. Dumbacher, Deputy Director of NASA's Exploration Launch Office. Also, The National Model Aviation Museum will have a booth and displays.

Because of our conference partner's level of participation, the half-day conference is completely FREE and includes a luncheon. ATAIN will reimburse faculty and students for mileage.

The conference has an emphasis on technology, but Space Science theorists are also encouraged to participate and present. This is a chance for theorists to meet experimentalists and engineers who might be able to augment their research ability.

Any researchers, technologists, or managers involved in Aeronautics, Material Science, Satellites, and Space Science Instrumentation should attend this conference to learn what is happening in the state, make excellent contacts, exhibit research, meet NASA and Air Force representatives, and hear what direction NASA is heading.
