The center will employ over 250 residents of Grant Co. as well as many of the residents of the surrounding counties.
The corporate support center will handle inbound calls for people who wish to apply for assistance from the state,
such as Medicaid, Food Stamps and TANF programs that are managed by the government. The center is expected to
handle more than 500,000 calls annually that will encompass screening for the various programs, adding programs to
already existing clients and processing changes to previous cases. The new service center will have an annual
payroll in excess of $6.2 million per year and will generate over $30 millions back into the local community. In
addition, ACS, a member of the IBM led Hoosier Coalition for Self Sufficiency is expected to spend over $2 million
in renovation expenses to an already existing facility for upgrades and improvements.
