Grant County Economic Growth Council

Ivy Tech Community College is partnering with the Marion/Grant County Chamber, Marion General Hospital, Bradner Village, TLC and the Growth Council to implement the recently awarded Strategic Skill Initiative Grants of $652,000. Developing and piloting new logistics certifications based on our community’s needs and assisting in the continuing education of health care workers is an example of the collaborative model that Ivy Tech is creating. This grant will enhance the skill sets of as many as 350 people in the greater Marion area. Ivy Tech stands ready to assist all employers with their individual training needs and welcomes students that want to increase their own abilities.
